Is it just me, or is this year totally flying by? I have been meaning to post my June favourites for a few days but I have been so busy travelling, I haven’t got around to it as soon as I would have liked! I have also discovered a whole new beauty brand I love so thought I would incorporate a Rodial Review in my favourites too since I’ve been so obsessed!
I have always been fascinated by Rodial’s ‘Natural Alternatives to Plastic Surgery’ skincare but have only recently been dabbling with their products. Each range is tempting but I am pacing myself and trying one at a time to fully benefit it’s effect. I also wanted a true idea of the results so I could share a comprehensive Rodial Review with you guys. I have been using the Bee Venom Eye Cream for around 3 weeks now and have noticed a considerable difference in my under eye area; dark circles have improved and the skin has tightened. The cream works with a blend of 6 active ingredients which hydrate, plump and smooth the eye area while reducing the appearance of dark circles. The pot you get for your money is huge and at least triple what brands usually give you in an eye cream so it is totally worth the spend as it will last forever! The best bit is, it is on offer on their website at the moment, with an extra 10% off! Hurry!!
I realise this is a Rodial heavy post but I have been obsessed with this brand! Rodial was predominantly a skincare brand but they launched an incredibly chic makeup range at the end of last year. I attended an event a few weeks back at their Harvey Nichols Counter to check it out and of all the products, these 4 products have made their way into my makeup bag; I am in LOVE with them.
I have a favourite bronzer with which I usually contour but Rodial’s Instaglam Contouring Powder is really giving it a run for its money- I find it gives me a more defined contour. Because of the cool tone of it, it gives me a more natural looking shadow and so my face looks far more defined with it in comparison to the bronzer.
Rodial eye sculpt is a brown coloured mousse-y formula which can be used as a wash over the eye for a quick eye look, intensified for a soft smoke and also used in the brows. I love the cool tone and ease of it- amazing!
The Instaglam Highlighter is a yellow toned concealer meant to highlight areas of the face naturally and it has been working wonders under my eyes between all these time zones and flights!
Lip products that moisturise are my weakness and Rodial’s Glamsticks are some of the best I have ever used- the rich formula keeps my lips soft for hours and the colours are gorgeous! The Glamsticks smell and taste like coconut and the coconut oil in them works wonders on chapped and/or dehydrated lips!
I have always been a loyal Dove Deodorant girl, it’s a touch more feminine than some of the others on the market and does exactly what is meant to! I was ecstatic when Dove Soft Feel launched; it is the quintessential feminine deodorant that was missing from the market. Dove teamed up with one of the worlds top fragrance houses to develop a fine fragrance for the Soft Feel range. The fragrance is a warm powdery scent with a mix of feminine florals, musk and amber. It smells clean, fresh and very feminine which is what I love! As well as the fragrance, I love how quickly it dries and the soft feel it leaves on my skin! Very aptly named and effective- I am so glad to have a feminine deodorant that works!
