Its May. It’s supposed to be bright and warm but this is the United Kingdom so realistically, we should expect all this rain. A rainy night outfit leaves a lot to be considered; certain items of clothing and some materials are just not wise. Rather than complain (I can be a moany ‘mare at times), I’m going to try and view this as an opportunity.
You guys know I love dresses and skirts and anything that feels infinitely feminine. However, flowly, feminine items can be inconvenient and just plain hard work when London is so miserably cold & wet. I have plans for dinner and drinks this weekend and am already considering wardrobe options. Don’t judge me- looking forward to the weekend helps me get through the week! I felt a lightbulb moment when I realised this jumpsuit would be the perfect rainy night outfit.
This jumpsuit keeps you covered and warm yet has a subtle sexiness to it. The lace is of a great quality with very intricate detail and it feels far more expensive than it is. I’ve paired it with my Red Patent Jimmy Choos (possibly my favourite pair of shoes for many reasons <3) and Miu Miu clutch but will probably throw a leather jacket over my shoulders this weekend and add a red lip too. It feels super sexy to wear but in a totally different way to what I’m used to.
I would imagine my rainy night outfit could also be worn for work with shoes that weren’t as statement and a black/nude cami under it. I do find missguided’s sizes to be quite large so I would suggest going down one size than your usual. Follow me on Instagram to see what I do end up wearing this weekend and where I end up going!
